Hi,
I have a requirement wherein I have to insert subtotals for a certain set of rows and have individual rows that don't need sum in the same cross-table.
COL2 | |||
INDI/GRP | GRP# | COL1 | |
INDI | X | X | 1 |
GRP | GRP1 | 1Y | 2 |
GRP | GRP1 | 1Z | 3 |
TOTAL FOR GRP 1 | TOTAL | 5 | |
INDI | A | A | 1 |
INDI | B | B | 5 |
GRP | GRP2 | 2C | 4 |
GRP | GRP2 | 2D | 4 |
TOTAL FOR GRP 2 | TOTAL | 8 |
I have managed to break on groups by creating a GRP variable. The condition for variable is that if the value belongs to a particular group it will get the value as <GRP#> here GRP1,GRP2, for other individual rows the value will be the same original value here X,A,B. But when I try to insert total, if I click on the measure and click on SUM function it inserts a row for every GRP(as needed) but also for every individual row(not needed). How do I delete that sum row for individual rows and keep them for the group rows?
