merge columns when exporting to excel data only

Hi,

I have a report with headers in fowling format.

         Quantity         |

first day   |  last day |

When exporting to excel data only I want output in following format and want to merge upper header cells.

Quantity
First DayLast Day

Hi Saurabh,

This is how I've set it up on our reports:

As you can see, I've enabled Guidlines and snapped the fields to each guideline so that no gaps are left between fields.

Hi,

Thanks for reply. Your solution is working.

But when I resize the merged cells in excel the upper header again goes in left cell.

There is an option in excel merge and center so is there any way to use this option while exporting?
