TBB1 error - Profit center does not exist

When i running TBB1, the following error is appeared

Profit center 1000/9010 does not exist for 01.01.2013

Procedure

Check your entry.

Note: The profit center is usually derived from the original account assignment object (cost center, order, and so on) or other information (such as the material number).

If necessary, create the desired profit center for the appropriate time frame.

Depending on your requirement, you can:

1. simply define the profit center to be entered based on the GL account used - OKB9
2. define a derivation rule in TRM if you want to choose dinamically the profit center

     -> FSCM -> TRM -> Transaction Manager -> Accounting -> Link to other accounting Assignments -> Additional Account Assignments -> Define derivation of additional account assignments

Even though I would not reccomend, you also have a 3rd option to use the available BADI's in case your requirement is more complex

IMG -> Financial Supply Chain Management -> Treasury and Risk Management -> Transaction Manager -> General Settings -> Accounting -> Link to Other Accounting Components -> Additional Account Assignments -> Define Derivation of Additional Account Assignments

If you know logic of profit center assignment to your transaction - so you can create derivation rules.

Accordingly create missing profict centers.

HI ,

you arecorrect Profit Centre comes from account assignment . BUt all items in that account assignment should be true.

So if you want to use any account assignment for any date then everything should be valid for that date , Like cost centre, WBS element , Proift centre , segement everything

PLEASE CREATE OR EXTEND VALIDAITY PERIOD OF PROFIT CENTRE IN KE52
