Hi,
I have a requirement for my client who is a drug distributor in US.
They are targeting the 'self life' of any product as low as 3 hours and not more than 24 hours. How can we report that from SAP. They are not using Batch Management and WM.
As per my knowledge we can maintain SLED w.r.t D(Day)/W(Week)/M(Month) basis. There is a field ''Time Unit'' in Plant Data Storage 1 view where i am getting the option 'HR' i.e. Hour. But I don't know whether this will fulfill the requirement or not.
Please help regarding this.Thanks.
I once answered in another thread and I am the opinion it is still valid:
I dont think that you can use hours.
for this you would need to enter the manufacturing date/Shelf life expiration date as well with hours, but the fields are just taking dates. the data type is DATS with a length of 8, there is no space for hours.
A field that can hold hours would have data type TIMS
You may have to contact SAP to ask if hours are possible, I doubt.
the period indicators are stored in table PRDKZ
the field period indicator is IPRKZ and the values ' ' , 1, 2 , 3 are fixed values entered to the domain DATTP, hence no chance for hours
