Solution Manager and GRC DEV in the same machine

Hello experts!

Someone already installed the Solution Manager in the same machine than GRC system?

We don't have hardware capacitiy in to DEV of ECC to install, the unique alternative is use GRC system machine.

We can? Some restriction?

As long you have a supported OS and DB and also the systems resources like (CPU, Memory and disk space) you can install the system.

To know the supported OS and DB check PAM

Hi Davene,

No restriction.

But you need to make sure you are using logical partitioning - i.e. different virtual/logical hostname for both systems for hassle free operations.

The other things is, you need to make sure you have sufficient resources, not just for current installation, but for future needs and updates.
