IDES EHP7 for ERP6: Client Copy (Source:800) - ASE Error SQL1105

Hello,

we are middle in an client copy process in our IDES EHP7 for ERP6, using Windows and ASE 15.7.0.122. We need this client copy (Source: 800, Profile: SAP_ALL) to create test scenarios (BPCA/TBOM, CBTA) in our Solution Manager 7.1 SP12. The problem is but, we stopp/stumble always on the same step: "ASE Error SQL1105".

I already ...

• Deactivate the log-file
• Expand the logfile (10 GB --> 15 GB)
• Expand the database (added 10 GB more)
• Reduced the number of processes for the copy process (from 6 to 3)
• ...

My questions are:

1. How big should be the logfile and/or needed space on database?
2. Which other alternate copy profile could help, instead of use SAP_ALL? Please note: this is an IDES System
3. How big is the Client 800 inside IDES?
4. Other suggestions?

It depends what data you want to copy. If you want to copy entire client specific data then use SAP_ALL. If only customization then use SAP_CUST.

As per SAP note 2012989 - IDES ERP 6.0 incl. EHP7 DB size for sybase would be around 250GB.

Why don't you use the default client 800 which is delivered by SAP.
