Hi, is it true that SAP plans beginning 2017 to set up the solution manager on a single stack (ABAP) only, or ist that just an rumor?

I am a bit confused, becasue JAVA is mor eand mor comming up inthe SAP Basis world, or am I mistaken?

Same here. Haven't heard anything about it and have been working extensively with SolMan.

Hi Roland,

Until you see anything stated from SAP official or the product comes in Rampup, you should consider it as a rumor. And if it's a rumor then why to worry. We are in 2014 and you are thinking of 2017

As per the Solution Release strategy, 7.1 is under maintenance their till the end of 2017. No one know if anything changes in 3 years.
