Regarding Bapi error in qm

Dear all,

I am using

BAPI_INSPOPER_GETCHAR

while processing for lot number 30000002802 characteristics are existing,but

For lot number 30000002851 it showing characteristics are not available

i checked in qp02 for the corresponding material characteristics were maintained.

Kindly let me know what are the other parameters to check.

Hi,

Craig is right,

It is 03 inspection type, so maintain MICs in Recipe, these MICs will be assigned to Inspection lot.

and then you can be able to see MICs in BAPI.

At this moment i dont think there are any MICs for this inspection lot because Recipe is Empty.

So maintan MICs in Recipe and test this for New inspection lot.

If this solves your issue, Craig should get the credit.

I'm not sure how much I can help you.  You know the receipe and operation that is missing the characteristics.  You should contact the business people responsible for maintaining quality data and have them add the characteritics needed to the receipe.

I have discussed with business people,after maintaining the process instruction in recipe level, BAPI_INSPOPER_GETCHAR is working fine.

Raja - I'm confused about the screen shot you provided.  It shows an inspection plan.  For 03 inspection lots, the characteristics come from the reciepe or the routing.  Not from an inspection plan.  It is way Amol saw the discrepancy in the operation number.

My guess is that operation 011 is the operation of the receipe that is supposed to contain the characteristics.  Either you are calling an inspection plan when you should be calling a reciepe or routing  OR the receipe/routing doesn't contain characteristis in operation 011.

Please verify that the receipe for the second inspection lot contains characteristics.  Inspection plan data should have no affect.

And more important thing is "are you passing Inspection lot operation number" in INSPOPER?

Ya i am giving INSPOPER 0011(phases)

but even though for particular lot number 30000002851 i am not geting the characteristics

Hi,

What are these phases?? I hope you are talking about Operation number from QP03.

Also check status of an inspection lot, and make sure that Inspection plan is assigned.

If still problem exists, then please share screenshots of Bapi error, Qp03 ani inspection lot in QA03.
