Hi All
I would like to make an adjustment to a Fiori Extension which another developer had worked on.
This may be a silly question but how to I open/import an existing UI5 Application extension project in RDE.
It seems the only options available is to create an new extension project.
Hi Sergio,
Not sure if you are still looking for an answer for this?
I assume your colleague is not working with SAP River RDE (otherwise he could just share it via Git)?
Then you have the option to import a archive file to SAP River RDE. For this you first have to create a new folder, mark this new folder and choose from the menu File -> Import -> Archive, in the dialog choose your ZIP file and click on Import.
Important to know is that in case you want to preview your project in SAP River RDE you might create your own neo-app.json file (see also question ).

Hi Sergio,
It depends on where the "parent' application resides.
If it is in your friend's workspace on RDE, then you need to import it as well as import the extension project, by using File -> Import.
If the parent resides on BSP then you can only import the extension project.
Regards,
Michal.
