The user sessions are not killed in BI is one of the known issues in Business Objects. Please refer following documents to kill the sessions manually or automate the kill session process.
Thanks for the quick reply, just one clarification but in our development server sessions are automatically gone, once user has logged out. Both systems are 4.0 system.
Is there any parameter where we can maintain for session auto cleared .
You can try one of the options above for sessions auto clear as those work well usually.
I have observed the same where the sessions are cleared fine in one environment and it is not cleared in other environment with same product level. Couple of my observations are as follows.
The issue occurs where large number of users login hence I have seen it happening in production more than DEV environment.
The user does not click on Log Out explicitly and the session is either timeout or the browser is closed directly then the session is not released.
