Hi,

Can anyone explain the scenario for spare parts- cons, digi, pick and ship. And what's followup process after I release the service order in each condition?

Hi Emilie,

Please find my explanation,

1. Ship - This will allow to ship the material in advance via service order for service and as well as it can be sold via sales order.

2. Pick - This will allow only the engineers to pick the material via service order for service. It cannot be sold via Sales Order.

3. Cons - For spare parts with costs charged to a cost center.

Dear Samraj,

So in case of Ship or Pick, we need to do outbound delivery and confirm it in service order right?

In case that the repair service is done in "own service center", how to deal with the spare part consumed? I need to consume it and manage the stock.
