Deploying SAP IM 4.0 Custom Application into the SMP 3.0?

Hi All,

I am working on SAP IM 4.0 and according to a requirement i just wanted to disable a field and i was successful in doing that but the problem now is that i am not able to publish the changes i.e the custom  SAP IM 4.0 to the server .

Solutions i tried was:

1.Unzipped the SAP-IM-4.0.zip and then published the changes to agentry.ini and then zipped it and tried to redeploy it to SMP 3.0

2.Exported the custom SAP IM 4.0 importing it to SMP 3.0

3.Exported standard SAP IM 4.0 from SMP 3.0 and then unzipped and deployed the changes to agentry.ini rezipped and tried importing.

Please do help me.

Are you trying to deploy development or production logic?

i am trying to deploy production version

In the Editor when you publish it will create a Zip file.  Don't publish this file to the SMP Server.  After the Zip file has been created go into the cockpit and load it to the App Settings tab of the Agentry Application.
