Deploy/Move custom WD Java components from 6.4 to 7.3

Hi,

Can you please advise the best practice, how to move/deploy custom Web Dynpro Java components from WAS 6.4 version to 7.3 version.

More over I would like to know more about limitations, look & feel, NWDI track and percentage of risk factors etc..

Client more concern about not to disturb current look & feel.

Please advise SAP best practice to achieve this.

it should be quite risky, if you don't know nwdi very well

Hi Jun,

Earlier I have worked on upgrade project from 6.4 to 7.0 where I have copied SRC folder from old track 6.4 into new track 7.0. Hence fixed all build errors. But not sure the same approach will work in my current project.

Please suggest the best way to achieve.

just follow that doc, using nwdi,

copying source folder won't work in this case, i think.
