How to Deploy Fiori Apps in Real Device

Hi All,

Sorry for asking this question as i am a newbie in app development.

I have developed fiori app and have tested it all the desktop and the emulators what i want to understand is how can i deploy fiori app to real device to test it...?

Is there any easy way as we can deploy android apps as .apk files..?

Is there any similar way if not than how can i deploy it to my real devices and make it available to others..??

Are you talking about mobile app or web app on browser?

Please share how did you test it on desktop and which emulator.

Hi Vishesh,

There is no deploy process on device. You just open browser on device and call Fiori launchpad.

It is same way you did on desktop.

Just one last thing ... I am planning to create a mobile app for the same in my eclipse if i do so then how deploy in my real mobile device..??

Hi Vishesh,

The mobile web apps (Apps which run in browser - any ui5 app ) can be converted to device specific formats using Cordova . Look the the blog for details on Cordova and how it works . Also there is an blog here with an example of how to package the application using Cordova .

Also you can use Fiori Client  which acts as a container and load your fiori apps in the container.
