Getting started with .NET Connector

Former Member

Hi there

I'm a .net developer and I need to create some sort of synchronization between SAP and a CRM System. Where do I have to start? I found this site: https://websmp207.sap-ag.de/public/connectors. However to access additional ressources I need to have a SAP Service Marketplace username / password. But I can't register because I'm not a SAP-Partner and because of this I do not have a Partner-ID.

So what is the correct way to get started?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Michael,

you on correct path regarding you development of interface type of thing between SAP and external system. As your app will be .NET based you need .NET Connector for SAP which is located on the page you referred to or on http://service.sap.com/connectors

As you said you are not able to download it due to missing S* ID. Unfortunately there is no other way how to get it w/o the ID. Only I can advise ask at the company which is having SAP system running. As SAP customer they are supposed to have S* ID.

This is actually big pain for all the developers that without having at least some relation with SAP they can do much...

cheers
