Hiring Without Position

Hello,

I have configured PA40. I was trying hire New Employee in PA40 hiring action. With out Position number, Action is not getting saved. What is the solution for this. Can anyone, please help me as soon as possible.

Hi Menaka,

You can hire with default position i.e 99999999.

I tried with default position. But I am getting error like IGMOD feature is not taken

Then that's not the problem of the missing position. The solution is in the message. You need to review your feature IGMOD and how it matches the setup of infogroups and action tyoes.

If you are an end user, then your technical expert or consultant will be able to set this up for you easily

No need to maintain info grp modification details while configuring the hiring action..

Can you please check under table V_T588D for your infogroup and feature IGMOD, if the settings are correct. You may have to remove entries for infogroup modifier field to get this resolved
