Hi all;
I need some info regarding field QMEL-KZLOESCH.
I have 2x QM notifications, both with same status: NOCO DLFL DEFR
Only one of them is flagged with “X” (field QMEL-KZLOESCH).
Does anyone know when/how QMEL-KZLOESCH is updated?
Best regards
W
Werner,
Ideal way of checking for DLFL status of Notifications is not QMEL-KZLOESCH, but it is through the field QMEL-PHASE. The value of this field will be '5' for all DLFL Notifications. (Hassle free)

Hi Werner,
So we have 2 issues here;
1. Does anyone know when/how QMEL-KZLOESCH is updated?
It is updated when Residence time is completed for a DLFL notification. Further explanation is already given in my previous reply.
2. Field KZLOESCH is important since records with this indicator will not appear in tcode QM10.
I could not check this scenario in my system but i believe QM10 is programmed to not display records with KZLOESCH-QMEL is Set.
Develope Z report for the same with your own logic.

Hi
Both notifications were created from same basis, i.e. defects recording from inspection lots.
No other module like PS, PM, PP, SM etc involved - Only core QM functionality (and without "Z" enhancements).
Both notifications were created automatically using SAP standard QM processes.
Thanks for your reply.

Hello,
As i told you it may be link to any module but main purpose of this filed is to indicate that some data deleted from notification. W.r.t QM/PM/PS or order etc.
This field is common in all notification related tables QMEL, VIQMEL, QMFE. if any data like item, task activity deleted from notification then system will mark this field value as X in related tables.
In QMEL, this is only the same purpose. will you please share your notification detailed screen shots. for more clarity
Hi Werner,
QMEL-KZLOESCH field is related to Deletion flag but it is not set as soon as you set deletion flag for notification.
There is resident time after which these DLFL notifications are marked for deletion, which results in setting "X" to QMEL-KZLOESCH. If DLFL notifications have not completed resident time for archiving it will not be archived.
I am yet to discover where exactly residence time is set for Notifications.

Hello
Yes when you creating any inspection lot and w.r.t it if any notification generated then by using this setting system will set the field.
And in this query both notification is with respect to inspection lot , if inspection lot archived then related QM components also archived.Secondly in stdn SAP there is nothing called to be as Residence time for notification except by some BAdi or other settings.
Regards
Hello Amol,
Program for archiving notification object is RQARCQM1/2/3
There is no such setting other than as i mentioned , if we run this program then notification with NOCO status along with DLFL archived.
Regards
Hi
Thanks for all the valuable feedback.
None of the RQARCQM* programs are scheduled within our system.
As previously mentioned, these notifications are generated automatically during Defects recording.
After UD, SAP automatically assigns status NOCO and others as NOCO DLFL. (Not sure why some get DLFL).
Field KZLOESCH is important since records with this indicator will not appear in tcode QM10.
Thanks
W
