Hi Expert
The client wants to work with the customers and suppliers in collaborative manner. Thus so, they want to use CFolders and integrate it with DMS.
I have read some forums and found that we can install CFolder as addon.
We are using SAP ECC6.0 EHP6. Could you please guide me what are the steps to be done to install CFolder and integrate it with DMS for document collabration.
Regards
Raja
Hi,
please be aware that cFolders is typicall installed standalone in the demilitarized zone rather than on top of your backend ERP system in case you collaborate with external suppliers.
The Configuration Documentation for cFolders is part of Solution Manager and lists you all detailed steps on how to set it up for different scenarios.
Dedicated transactions (CFE02, CFI02) in your backend ERP system allow you to push and pull data like documents and BOMs to cFolders or back from cFolders. There is also a rich API library to automate this with your own logic.
Please refer also to the cFolders Master Guide here:

Hi Raja,
Yes, you can install cFolders as a addon. The cFolders comes as a ERP addon 'CPRXRPM' and latest version is 600. This is a BSP application and when compared to old versions like 450, there are no new functionalities included in the latest versions.
After installation of 600 version, you need to configure cFolders like activation of SICF services, cFolders/Network administration and backend integration for DMS,BOM,Material master etc.,

Ravi
