SAP BPC 10 NW ENVIRONMENTSHELL Install or transport

Hi All,

I am trying to Transport Environment for first time from DEV to QA system but I am a little embarrassed.

Do I have to transport the environmentshell from DEV to QA or I have to run UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT in QA to create environmentshell, before the first transport?

Version: CPMBPC 801-SP4

Hi Miklos,

You have to activate the environmentshell, to do this, you have to enter the TX se38 and use the program UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT, after this you have to chose this:

And execute the program.

Hi Miki,

You can't use a box for BPC NW until ENVIRONMENTSHELL is activated. So, first activate it in the target box and then transport your Env.

Hi Gersh,

Just for clarification.

• I have to set my QA to modifiable
• Run UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT to create  ENVIRONMENTSHELL
• I set my QA to Unmodifiable

Then I can try transport my new Environment.

Hi Miki,

Please check with Installation Guide what namespaces have to set as Modifiable.
