Unable to see gear icon in personas screen

Hi All,

I have configure personas and verified configuration several time and when I access mainapp link, I don't see gear icon. When I click on the system its just blinking. I am missing anything?

Also, Should em/global_area_mb = 2gigs irrespective of number of users?

Hi Dheeraj,

Please check configuration guide and make sure you have done all the configurations correctly. There is a checklist at the end of the guide which can help you to verify if everything is setup correctly.

Thanks for reply, I have checked configuration several times.

1. In restgui service configuration CL_HTTP_EXT_ITS_BASIC is not maintained in handler list & this service is not available in the system. I have used CL_HTTP_EXT_ITS.

     Tried applying sap note but it didn't went through.

     If there is any note or guide to configure restgui service configuration please share.

2. If both the managed system & target system are same, is it necessary for RFC connection?

3. Finally, Should the ITS parameter em/global_area_MB = 2048. I am testing it on a sandbox for one user currently

Please provide your suggestion.

hi raj,

You would need to implement the note for having ITS_BASIC class in your system. Its part of configuration and without workaround.

IF you cannot apply that note, please raise a CSS message.
