Hi All,

I am trying to perform SAP <SID> rename using SWPM 1.0 SP6 and getting the following error.

<html> <head> </head> <body> <p> An error occurred while processing option <i>System Rename > Central System > SAP System Rename( Last error reported by the step: The JVM reports an exception during execution of class ( com.sap.sdt.ins.component.ora_clone_db_post_dia.DiSchemaUsersAndListener_validator ) and function executeStepClass.         at com.sap.sdt.ins.component.ora_clone_db_post_dia.DiSchemaUsersAndListener_validator.execute(DiSchemaUsersAndListener_validator.java:70)

.)</i>. You can now: </p> <ul> <li> Choose <i>Retry</i><br>to repeat the current step. </li> <li> Choose <i>Log Files</i><br>to get more information about the error. </li> <li> Stop the option and continue later. </li> </ul> <p> Log files are written to /tmp/sapinst_instdir/NW70/SBC/CENTRAL. </p> </body></html>

FYI: I have unmounted the source <SID> file systems and monuted back with target <SID>

Could you please do the needful.

Thanks and Regards,

Prasad

Hi Srivastava,

Thanks for the quick responce !!

Yes, it is mentioned in the System Rename Gude(Page# 22).

https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000664952012E

Unfortunately it is not writing the error logs at OS level other than attached
in my previous message.

Thanks and Regards,

Prasad

Did you check SUM and below ?

Log files are written to /tmp/sapinst_instdir/NW70/SBC/CENTRAL

Also

Unmount the mount points /usr/sap/<source_SAPSID> and /<sapmnt>/<source_SAPSID>

You have unmounted only these. Right ?

Hi Srivastava,

I have checked /tmp/sapinst_instdir/NW70/SBC/CENTRAL, but I could not find much info about this error..

No, I have changed for /oracle/<SID> also.

Thanks and Regards,

Prasad

That is what I am asking ?

Where did you read to replace all file systems on which you see old SID ?

If I am not changing to Target SID, it is not allowing me to move forward.

Error Message clearly indicating that, /oracle/<Target SID> should be mounted.

Thanks and Regards,

Prasad

Hi Prasad,

That is fine, it's oracle specific procedure.

We replace DBSID file system.

That is fine. What you have done is correct.

However, without logs, it's very difficult to suggest - infact, what to suggest ?

Hi All,

Issue has been resolved by changing the ORACLE_HOME from /oracle/<SID>/11203 to /oracle/<SID>/112_64 in listener.ora.

Thanks for all your support.

Thanks and Regards,

Prasad
