Importing Objects from SAP

Hi All,

I'm trying to import RFC objects from SAP Server. However upon trying to import the objects the SAP System is tied to ECD system. The object I'm trying to import is located at PID. How do I change the SAP System so that I can import the object from PID?

Thanks

John

Hi John,

In that case you need to provide BID details in the screen sarkar has provided.

Thanks,

Naveen

Did you check the note shared by Mark? Just double click on the software component version.

Actions in the PI ESR

  1. Call transaction sxmb_ifr and logon to the ESR.
  2. Open the Software Component Version (SWCV) that you wish to import the IDoc/RFC into
  3. Enter the connection details of the SAP R/3 backend system (SID, Client and Server name)
  4. Go to the Imported Objects subnode for this SWCV and right click
  5. Select Import of SAP Objects
  6. Enter the Logon details of the SAP backend R/3 system
  7. Expand the IDoc/RFC node and select the IDoc/RFC you wish to import (you can also use the search function)
  8. Execute the import
