Work Order header or operation Long Text edit

Hi Guru,

Whenever I try to chnage the long text either header or operation of work order automatically save as pop up appears as shown in picture.

Kindly help me to remove this setting.I dont want automatically save as option.

Hi,

Please check user has same issue on another system.

You may also check Open Security Configuration on user SAP LOGON PAD and compare with user who has not this issue

Have you confirmed that this issue is not of MS Word?  i.e., MS Word screen displaying SAP Longtext only has this behavior, not outside?

My screen looks quite a bit different...

Some questions:

• What version of SAP are you running
• What GUI version is this user using
• Is this an issue with all users

Hi Pete,

This is EHP6 FOR SAP ERP 6.0.

All are using the same system.But it is happening only with 1 user.

I still feel it is related to some long text user level settings.

Check that user's GUI Patch Level, and compare it with other users settings.

Also check the user's Parameter ID settings via TCode SU3.

Hi Baiju,

you can try to change the editor in the top menu of the long text screen: Goto - Change Edítor.

Then you have the classical editor, which should not bring the pop-up.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for your response.

I have already suggested the same but  user doesn't want the classical editor.

he wants microsoft document editor as default,in which any changes in long text it comes save as automaticaly that he does not want.And important point why it happens only with him not with other users.

as only one user is affected by this behaviour, it's tricky question:

Is this user using another version of Word than the others?
