Hi experts,
I have the following question:
In Make to Order when I create a Customer Order, is possible the system automatically creates a Production Order for the same quantity that the Customer Order without running MRP?
If it is possible, what I have to do?

Hello Arnulfo
Yes, this is possible. This process is called Assembly-to-order (ATO) and you can find more information on the link below of SAP on-line help:
Make-to-Order Using Assembly Processing - Assembly-to-order (LO-ASM) - SAP Library
You can try for yourself, setting strategy 81 for your material and creating a sales order.

Hi,
Production Order can be created with reference to sales order by using transaction code CO08 or by using BAPI ( BAPI_PRODORD_CREATE) or applying BDC
Your scenario may be handled by deploying enhancement one of the above at the time when sales order is saved.

Hi,
There are two strategy to do this.
Strategy 81- Customer order can create planned order directly
Strategy 82- Customer order can create production order directly.
Both are without MRP.
Success and Cheers
