Upgrade from SAP NW 7.01 SP6 to SAP NW 7.01 SP14.

Hi All,

We are heading towards the upgrade for SAP ABAP ECC and BI. We need to know the impact on security side after the movement from lower level to higher such as objects level, SAP standard role changes, SAP tables updates. Currently we are on SP06 and planning to upgrade to SP14.

Quick help will be much appreciated.

Hi Subharant,

You may have to check each support packages notes individually for exact impact but it will be having huge no of notes. you can request side effect report for stack upgrade.

Please have look  at 1496212 - EHP6 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP stacks - Release & Information Note for release information for EHP6 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP stacks.

you can get side effects from service.sap.com/side-effects for analyzing issues in the target stack level , select relevant system, select the SPs level for getting side effects then submit. you will be receiving side effect report within 6 hours.

Please note that side effect report is only for resolving issues after you have done the SPS update.  Please close the thread if you got clarified.
