Hi,

Can someone throw light how operational reports can be set up in EM web UI layer i.e in WCL layer of event management system

Hi Dipak,

I have tried to put all the configs here...

SAP AP EM WebUI using config from IMG-> Event Messages, Status Queries, and Web Interface -> Web Interface

a) First create your web transaction to show your visibility process in IMG-> Event Messages, Status Queries, and Web Interface -> Web Interface -> Define Web Interface Transactions.

b) Configure the fields which you need it in SAP EM WebUI Selection and Display (System, Control parameters etc)  in  IMG-> Event Messages, Status Queries, and Web Interface -> Web Interface -> Configure Fields for User Profiles -> Configure Fields for Display / Configure Fields for Selection.

c) Once you configured fields for Display and Selection.

d) Define a new Selection Profile under IMG-> Event Messages, Status Queries, and Web Interface -> Web Interface -> Define User Profiles -> Selection Profile.

e) Double click Selection Profile Details on your newly defined selection profile under IMG-> Event Messages, Status Queries, and Web Interface -> Web Interface -> Define User Profiles -> Selection Profile -> Selection Profile Details

f) Assign the configured fields (that you need to show in EM WebUI) which you have done in "b)" to show in "selection screen" to display in which order, input for range, single input or multiple input and check the box "required field indicator" if it is a required field.

g) Define a new Display Profile under IMG-> Event Messages, Status Queries, and Web Interface -> Web Interface -> Define User Profiles -> Display Profile

h) Double click Event Handler Display Details your newly defined display profile under IMG-> Event Messages, Status Queries, and Web Interface -> Web Interface -> Define User Profiles -> Display Profile -> Event Handler Display Details

g) Assign the configured fields (that you want to show in EM WebUI)  which you have done in "b)" and assign display level indicator to show in "Result Overview screen and Display details screen or All screens" and assign sequence numbers in both table and details.

h) Double click Event Display Details on defined display profile under IMG-> Event Messages, Status Queries, and Web Interface -> Web Interface -> Define User Profiles -> Display Profile -> Event Handler Display Details

g) Assign the configured fields (that you need to show) which you have done in "b)" and also these configured fields EE_STAT_ICON, EVT_DESC, EXP_DATE_TIME, REP_DATE_TIME etc and assign display level indicator to show in "Result Overview screen and Display details screen or All screens" and assign sequence numbers in both table and details.

i) Define a new User profile and Assign Display Profile and Selection Profile under IMG-> Event Messages, Status Queries, and Web Interface -> Web Interface -> Define User Profiles -> User Profile

j) Assign User Profile and WCL Transaction to User or roles under  IMG-> Event Messages, Status Queries, and Web Interface -> Web Interface -> Assign User Profiles and Web Interface Transactions to Users or Assign User Profiles to Roles

These are basic settings which you need to do, however you can configure external navigation links, custom configure fields based on your client requirements.

Also, you have to set it up details (ask your project basis team) in Transaction code SICF (default_host -> sap -> bc->webdynpro->saptrx).
