SU01 - Int. mail postal code - Purpose ?

Hi All,

   Just a discussion where do you guys have any idea about the purpose of this field in SU01 : Internal mail (F1 description : Int. mail postal code) ?

  

    I would like to maintain it with a hard-coded text so that it will printed on every forms, but I'm not sure if that will impact to other function/feature in SAP or not.

Hi Ken,

This will help you to configure the mail (SAP mail system). Generally In SAP ECC and B.One have mail facility. You have to configure your mail system in sap server, then at last you have to add particular mail id in the INTERNAL MAIL text box.

Generally internal mail are using in sap system for communicate and reporting purpose (like:-report sharing ,workflow) all these with out using any 3rd party mailing tool(like:MS OUTLOOK)
