Migrating Users with LDAP Aliases

Hi,

I am currently trying to migrate users between environments (BOXI 3.1 SP1 > BOXI 3.1 SP6)  using the Import Wizard. These user all have LDAP aliases created in the source environment.

In the target environment I have been asked to use a new LDAP Host so my LDAP host DN and CN are all different from the source.

What is the correct approach for migrating users in this case?  Should I configure LDAP authentication in the target environment before importing users?

Hi Paul,

If you have enterprise aliases to the LDAP users, I would recommend to migrate the users to the new environment and then configure LDAP authentication.
