Unable to send Proxy messages from ECC to PO system

Hi,

We have several sender proxy scenarios connecting ECC to PO system. The same ECC system is also connected to another PI system as well. In ECC under sxmb_adm --> Corresponding Integration Server, the RFC destination of PI server has been currently maintained.

To make sure that the messages from ECC system reach the new PO system, we had to maintain the Runtime parameter IS_URL  and the current value as the RFC destination pointing to the new PO system.with sub parameter as the corresponding interface name for which we want to send the data.

But the problem is that it just doesn't sounds to be a proper solution. We cannot keep on adding the runtime parameter for every interface we configure. In our case, there would be around 90 interfaces in all.

Please suggest what can be done.

Hi,

The best way is to choose a point in time where you link your ECC system to the new SAP PO system only.

Having your ECC system linked to both PI and PO is not a good solution.

What about

• unit tests
• new developments

Keep that in mind and go for a cut over to the new PO.
