Discontinuous data Enhancement

HI All,

I have a particular requirement with discontinuous data in  material master.

Currently if the stock of one material is not there,the system proposes the alternate material based on the settings in material master and BOM.

If the second material is also not there I want the system to propose the third material.

I want discontinuous data in multilevel for BOM.

Is that possible through any enhancement.

Hi Richie.

I managed a similar situation using the Alternate Item Data in BOM. I used Strategy = 2 and Usage probability = 100% on newest code. The priority in order of relevance.

When the ATP runs (on planned order or Production Order) the components available will be activated.
