Dashboard not visible in Launchpad

Hi Guys,

I have created a dashboard using a live office connection from a Webi Report in Dashboards 4.1. I then went to the Data -> Connection Tab and saved the connection. However, when I save the Dashboards to BI Launch Pad folder, it is not visible there. Could anyone please help resolve the issue?

Does the dashboard work as designed when you preview or open as a swf from any other location?

Also. after saving did you get the saved successfully message? Sometimes it takes very long to save in the server.

Turned out it was taking some time to save it. The issue has been resolved now. Thanks for the advise everyone.

Hi Jeewan,

Please explain what you mean by it is not visible there.

Do you not see the dashboard object there?

Do you see the dashboard object but it does not load?

Check if the dashboard runs fine in designer itself first.

You need to confirm all pre-requisites of Dashboards that starts from OS, Excel, Flash Player and IE if viewing it from Platform.

Give us a snapshot so that it would be easy for us to help you.

save it your favorites then try to view it from there in the launchpad

Does your id has sufficient rights did you checked with administrator id ?
