Wrong rounding-off of WHT

We are deducting Withholding tax on payments to vendors, system deducting correct tax but there are minor rounding differences.

For example

Tax calculated = 1222.4

Tax which should be posted = 1222 (Because of commercial rounding)

Tax which system posting = 1221

Note: we have activated the commercial rounding in the tax type.

Kindly suggest the way forward.

Hi Saad,

Check the menu path below:

Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) --> Withholding Tax --> Extended Withholding Tax -->  Calculation --> Withholding Tax Type --> Define Withholding Tax Type for Invoice Posting

In the option rounding rule you define this rounding.

Please maintain rounding rule for the withholding tax type in the below configuration node- FA(New)- Withholding tax- Extended withholding tax- calculation- withholding tax type - Define rounding rule for w.h.tax type

Hi Saad,

As you said, you already select the option in w.h.type configuration and also defined the rounding rule for the type. Then no other settings exist for correct it.

Keep rounding unit as 1 and try.
