Is there anyway to influence carrier selection based on Charge types amount instead of Cost (which is the total amount calculated)?. I believe it's not standard, looking for options to explore....

Hi Vasant,

If your question is around influence of carrier selection based on charge calculation, then the answer is 'yes'.

Appropriate freight agreements having TCCS/charge types need to be in place. Then you can choose cost origin field in transportation lane as 'Costs calculated by component TCM'.

Hello Vikas,

I was wondering if there is anyway it's possible to look at the charge type only instead of the total calculated amount for carrier selection. I don' think so, but thought there might be a way to build different calculation sheets and do calculation sheet determination. Any thoughts?
