Dear All,

Could you please help me on below issue.

my customer  want to increase existing approved Budget (Which is already available in BI & BPC)with 6% in BPC using script logic for few cost centers with cost elements for all the periods of 2014.

Could you please provide me how to do it in BPC as i'm new to BPC.

Below is the example: before increment

Cost center      Cost element     2014.01     2014.02    2014.03...

15000               310022               1000          1055         1072

15000                450000               870             960          1042

after increment, it should be like below

Cost center      Cost element     2014.01     2014.02    2014.03...

15000               310022               1060          1118         1137

15000                450000               922             1018         1105

Hi,

As per your suggestion only I ran the data into BPC 1st and ran second time with logic.

found that the data b/w BW and BPC is not matching. BW cube is having Cost center 310000  and cost element 430100 for period 2010001  budget is USD 663,00

but in BPC it showing as 717.1008.

I have selected correct transformation file.

Hi Perm,

Your original question was - how to increment data in BPC. With the script provided this question is solved.

Now you have another issue - incorrect data load from BW. It's another story! You have to  provide full details.

If I correctly understand you - that even without logic you have result not matching BW result!

Now i'm getting the data into BPC,however data is more than double. I have used append option while running the package.

is that the reason behind on this.

Hi Prem,

Please, don't mix things! First get the correct data in BPC without running default.lgf. I can't help you with it, just check  what you select in Load Transaction data from BW info provider UI.

Second - test script and ensure you get correct result with script.

I do have date for 2010 for all these cost center and cost elements in SAP BI.followed below steps.

running package load Transaction data from BW info provider UI

and selecting source info cube and transformation file

handling of records in target option: Append

Default logic run : Yes

Work Status checking: No

then RUN:

Status: WARNING.

Task name CONVERT:

No 1 Round:

No records are returned from ZCCA_C12

Reject count: 0

Record count: 0

Skip count: 0

Accept count: 0

Task name LOAD INFOPROVIDER:

Submit count: 0

Reject count: 0

model: OL_EXPENSE. Package status: WARNING

P.S. Actually, you have problems with data loading - no records selected from BW infoprovider... no records stored in the BPC cube.

The script is working correctly, but the line:

Mean that original data was also zero!

Easy - first you scope records to be increased:

just used your code and ran the data package with option run default code. it returned 0 records with Warning message.
