Print with Easy Print Driver

Helo!

We need print from redirected printers on Windows Terminal Server based on Win 2008 Server.

Driver which used for that print task is Easy Print driver. WTS administrators say that we can't use any other drivers for that print task.

But when I printin this way from sap spool request created in WTS spool, but not redirected to client PC spool and not printed on it.

Please explain which Device Type I can use in SPAD SAP for print via  Easy Print driver?

1. IN different way (in most cases printers are connected to local port)

2. Yes, some configuration can be changed, but used only Easy Print driver

3. I think sprint method not applied in case many printers

Could you use the device type "swin" and then check the printouts

Helo and thanks! SWIN device type can't be used for printout ADS forms, so need other solution

In bottom this article are next info:

"You cannot use a printer with the device type SAPWIN/SWIN."

Hi,

follow below steps

print using “LOCL” as the destination Printer.

Leave option for “Print Immediately” BLANK

Continue to finish your Printing.

1.  Those printer are connected in the client pc local port or IP based printer?

2. is it possible do the configuration on WTS server

3. We are using the WTS connection, but our printer are configured in SAP Sprint method.
