estimate the movering average price for future periods

Hi

Is there a simple way to estimate the movering average price with planned data for future periods?

For each month, my customer would like to calculate a moving average price per material/plant.

Hi,

There is no such tool or transactions which directly provides you the forecast MAP.

It depends customer to customer, how they want to fix the forecast MAP for a Material which is procured in house or from supplier.

Usually it will make sense when you will take an average price for 6 months, 12 months or 2 years as per the requirement.

And you can fix the value as per even the latest MAP which will be carry forward.

How customers do usually? they make a report in BW?

My customer would like to use APO, however it is not a reporting tool and prices are not transfered with orders.

The best would through BW based on average calculations or what ever customer formula to calculate MAP as they needed.
