Hi Friends, need help on maintaining vendor classification data in MDG

Hi All,

I have a requirement to handle classification data for Vendor, How do I do that as MDG does not provide any standard way of handling that for Vendor.Can anyone please guide.Attached a file for your understanding.

SAP MDG does not support Vendor Classification scenarion untill MDG7.0 SP02 version.

Thanks for the reply. I got your point but is there any way like by customizing can we still achieve this?

we are on 7.0 Sp version I need to check. Please tell me in 7.0 SP2 is it a SAP delivered object and without any hassle we can handle classification data?

Unfortu\nately answer is no.Classification for Vendor is not supported in MDG only in ECC Vendoe Master Classification is possible ]uptill now.

last query:As you said on the first reply in MDG 7.0 SP2 it is possible. So I would like to know will this be part of standard content like how we have SAP Delivered model for suppliers? or we need to extend the data model like how we do it for extension of entity types or so?

Hello,

Vendor classification is not supported yet. You will have to build a custom solution for this. Alternatively, you can design your process to only allow maintenance of vendor classification in the corresponding ECC transaction.
