we have one customized cost center report, designed in GRR1 under standard report library, we create a tcode for it.
in cost center master, we maintain person responsible, the requirement is responsible people only can see their individual cost center.
currently every people who are assigned to this t-code can see all the cost center in this Z report
can we build authrozation on this report painter report, my opinion is not possible, any experts can show any alternative way? thanks
Hi
We use object K_CCA based on cost center groups (Resp Area). Check if this helps in your case.

Hi Siva
I rememver, way back in 2004, when I was an end user in SAP, I used to use S_ALR_87013611.
I had access only to few cost centers and not all.. Whenever I needed access to more, i used to request our security team which would add the new CCs in my auth (instead of *)

Hi Siva,
This is an interesting question.
I have never been faced with it before so I am not 100% sure if it's possible.
But analysing SAP Notes:
65859 - Report Writer: Authorizations for data records
554340 - Report Writer: enhancement GRWTAUTH without example code
looks that it probably can be done with user exit.
However I would suggest using field "User Responsible" VERAK_USER instead of "Person Responsible" as the second one is not validated.
Please keep us posted.
Regards,
Szymon
