Hi Sayak,

What is the error No. and message? You must analysis the result of availability check through CO09. It will give you more idea about the ATP qty on that specific day. Just check it

Thanks

Because the available 6 might have been reserved for other requirements as said by AKS check CO09 with checking group for order goods movement(release).

Hi Sayak,

For stock deficit, there could be a several reason like

Incorrect storage location

The goods movement to the reciept element may be account assigned to  the sales order, in this case though the component is available in unrestricted stock, system will look for account assigned stock.

So it could be easier for the community to guide you, if you provide a screen shot or the error message and the transaction which was been used for goods movement along with the reciept element.

Hi Sayak,

Further to Kiran's comment...

The reservation in system is nothing but the required component quantity are reserved for an receipt element that is either a planned order, production order, process order, network like so on.

It is not that, stock cannot be used for any other purpose, since the stock is reserved against a certain receipt element. Even a reserved stock can be used freely for any movement types as that of un-restricted stock until the picking has not been done.

You can also pull the open reservation list from MB25 and compare the stock overview (MMBE) and difference quantity, with drawl quantity there by.

Sayak,

MMBE Reserved quantity includes different requirement types

AR - Automatic reservation  (Order reservation )

BB - Subcontractor requirements

SB - Dependent requirement

MR - Manual reservation

Check RESB table for open reservations.
