BW extraction SAP PLM

Hello Team,

Please provide me details whether are we extracting data from SAP PLM system to SAP BW system.

Please provide various standard datasources used , implementation strategy etc information.

Hi,

if you want PM or PLM data source search on the using the TCODE- RSA5 then check the data in RSA3 and after activation check the data source in RSA5.

search on the google " help.sap. sap bw pm or plm data source".

Hi,

Yes, we can extract data from SAP PM to SAP BW if we have proper configurations.About configurations you can take your functional and basis team help.

About data source: once your basis team completes the installation then at source side, go to RSA5 and find PM module,Explore there. you will find all PLM-BW Data sources.

Even do some basic search on Google by using general words. you may get useful information.

Mean PLM.

But PLM is not like SD or MM.

its combination of some other concepts.

So please read all about SAP PLM from Google search and later as per your needs search for standard data sources at RSA5 source system.

Hi Dear,

As i stated above, PLM is not single module. its have lot of concepts which part of other modules as well, first explore about PLM.

Based on concept wise we need find right data sources.

Use the search term "BI Content data source for PLM" and search on google, you may some basic information.
