Hi
Can any please explain me the difference between WRITEBACK BAdI and UJ_CUSTOM_LOGIC BAdI in BPC 10.0
Hi Sekhar,
Custom logic is used for simple or complex calculations in BPC models, in your BADI you read data from models and do something with the data then write back into models. You run the custom logic in data packages.
Write back BADI is triggered before anything is written to the database, hence the name, you need to specify when is the write back will be used. eg.
DM Data Manager
MAN Manual Input
JRN Journal Entry
COMM Comment Entry
DOCS Document Modifications
it is used mostly for changing the data before it saves to the database.

Hi Sekhar,
I recommend you to read all badi related documents for all BPC versions (7,7.5 and 10) here: Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) How-to Guides - Business Process Expert - SCN Wiki
In general, CUSTOM LOGIC badi has to be explicitly called in some script (used in DM package or default.lgf script). Write back badi will be called automatically (in case the correct filter is set) before the data is written to cube.
Is it clear?
