Change history for contact data details

Hi Experts,

i have a requirement in which, i need to capture the changes done to the Department and Function field for contact data of a BP.

i am using CRM7.0 version.

i have already tried the option of Change_document_read FM but it didn't return the required fields.

Please let me know how can i proceed.

thanks for the reply.

Just 1 doubt, my requirement is to capture the changes of the fields at back end.

I have a report program with time and date as selection parameters, so based on changed date of field, i need to pick it up the field.

So, will this note help me with it?
