When we will use "Issue for Production" & when we will use  "Receipt from Production" in SAP B1????

Issue & Receipt for Production mainly use in Production Process.

1.Issue For Production : Suppose you have manufacture Bike or its Engine In this case Bike/Engine is your Final Product.

For this you need raw material So after processing on this Final product will produce.In Sap Business One we need to Issue this Raw Material from its particular warehouse Location.that is Issue for production Process.

2.Receipt from Production :After processing on Raw Materials Final Product is Received.So it need to be receive on its particular warehouse Location as it is.

In above Processes Raw Material Get Consumed means Raw Materials In Stock Qty get Less.&

Finish Goods In stock Qty get Raised.

Hi

Two words here separate this 2 functions. First is FOR, it means this function is required to get material (component) to produce the finished goods. It updates goods issue table. The other is FROM. It means finished goods can be received form it. This will update goods receipt table.

Hi,

Assume you want produce a NUT. To make NUT, you need raw material.

Issue for production--> To make NUT, you should issue raw material to production to process the raw to NUT

Receipt from production---> To keep into stock as finished item, you have to receive from production.

Note: This is definition for standard production order

Issue for prodction when you need to issue your raw material for production and receipt for production will be use when your finished good is ready after production so with the help of receipt of production screen you will be able to receive your material in your warehouse

Imagina the above bom

When you want to remove your item2 and item3 from stock you use Issue for Production

When you want to enter your item1 and the  produced quantity you have to use Receipt from Production.
