Release of the Inspection lot

Hi All,

Need to release the inspection lot.

The material stock  in warehouse is in Blocked stock category, need to post the stock to quality stock in order to release the inpection lot??

Even if the stock is in blocked category by assignig the task/ specification list to the material & saving, can i release the lot???

How to overcome the issue??

Why do you need to do that? As Anand said, use 343 to post this quantity to UR.

And there is one question as well,

Did you release the quantity from QI to Block stock lot before using this inspection lot?

Seems that the material is in block stock and you want to move the same in to unrestricted use. And while doing so you want to record inspection results and asking whether we can generate any inspection lot for this or not?

1. You can move it to QI using 349 movement type in MB1B. Activate inspection type 08 before that
2. It will generate inspection lot of 08 origin. Record results against this lot and perform stock posting.

Else, as in normal case you can move the material from block to unrestricted directly using MB1B 343

Hello,

Inspection lot you can clear at any point of time by putting UD and after RR.

IF your lot status is CRTD then assign task list and put UD for closure. is your lot is stock relevent ? or system will not allow you to clear lot without inventory in QI, is there some concern like this ?

Clearance is same as stdn .
