Installation of SAP IDES ECC 6.0 ehp6 with DB2+ Windows 2008 R2 SP1 64bit

1)  I am going to install IDES ECC 6.0 EHP6 with ABAP+JAVA. So which file i'll download form market place.

I found these 2 files.Is these are correct one?

  51041991_1                 BS2011 Java Components - NW 7.03 1 of 4 (it mean 4 file related to this)

  51041992                  SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6 Components

2)   Installation master is not require at the time using SWPM   (   70SWPM10SP06_4-20009707.sar __70SWPM10SP06

3)   Before installation java also not require,because of SWPM have java. At the time of SWPM installation, java will install automatically . If previously there was any java installed in the machine then it will throw a error.        

Please correct if my points are wrong.

Hi,

Please check note

1761605 - "IDES ERP 6.0 incl. EHP6"

You have to use the sapinst.exe (Windows) in the Installation Master
DVD for executing the installation. For IDES it's the same procedure
as for standard Installation of ERP or such other Netweaver based
products. There are only special 'filled' DVDs available.

-> SAP ERP

There you can find all relevant DVDs. To execute the installation, run
the sapinst.exe in the 'Installation Master DVD'.

I am unable to find installation master DVD on this path

My Company's Application Components-->> 

           My Company's Software-->>

                   SAP ERP-->> 

                      SAP ERP ENHANCE PACKAGE"-->>

                           EHP6 FOR SAP ERP 6.0--->>

                               IDES version-->>

                                     microsoft windows-->>  DB2/UDB

There is no Installation master DVD in this path

Please tell me any other installation master DVD will work for IDES  EHP6.0_ehp6

Hi Bhipra,

Please use SWPM ( Software Provisioning Manager ) software to perform the installation. Installation Master is no more available and supported by SAP .

Hello,

Run https:/service.sap.com/swdc  Installations and Upgrades, E,  SAP ERP, Ides version:

AFAIK Ides doesn't have Java stack.
