Cancellation of TRIP - posted to FI

Hello,

I am not able to cancell trip which is posted to FI. System giving an error message as below.

"

Accounting status not 'documents posted', trip can not be changed

Message no. 56821

Diagnosis

A trip can not be changed if

• it has accounting status 'transferred FI' or 'cancellation posted
  FI'

• and the trip transfer documents have not yet been posted.

Procedure

Go to posting run management and post the trip transfer documents. After
that, make your trip changes."

I have tried the above steps but still not able to cancel.

Is there any configuration or authorisation required to do this activity from PR05?

Hi,

Your Business trip has still the Status transfered to FI- But not posted to FI.

Please choose Transaction PRRW- select the posting run. Please Check(Button /Shift+F4)  the posting run. If no error occcurs you can post it.

If you don't want to post your posting run - I assume this because you want to cancel it- you have to 'reject the posting run'. This is possible in PRRW via button (SHIFT+F5).

After rejection of the posting run - you can delete the trip.

Cancellation of Business trips are only possible if the trip is posted to FI.

Dear Amit,

Please check your trip history log. This trip looks like already was included in one of posting run.

Might be it was request before which was not posted due 0 amount. 

You can check it using travel cluster or PTRV_PERIO table. This table contain posting run number.

After you findout posting run in PRRW you have evalute, that to do with posting run, it might be more then one trip in it. So you either reject posting run or post it.

Yes, i did. but i am not able to cancel trip from PR05 first. before going to PRFI you need to cancel thetrip in PR05.

You wont be able to cancel it in PR05 if you dont either post it or reject it in PRRW.
