Hi all,
Following the SAP note 105047, SAP does not support the Oracle feature Hybrid Columnar Compression (HCC).
Following the Oracle document linked below, Hybrid Columnar Compression can be used for SAP but alignment with SAP is required.

Does anyone know what is this "SAP alignment" ? Is it a kind of certification, support extension ?
Regards,
Hi Gino,
it is correct, that SAP does currently not support HCC with its "out-of-the-box" standard certification. The term "SAP alignment" means "needs SAP approval" - it is also mentioned in this presentation on slide 20.
However HCC is currently tested and evaluated for 12c (Source: Oracle Database for SAP | Oracle and SAP on Oracle Development Update | SCN - slide 20) in the standard certification.
Regards
Stefan
