Alert configuration Specification

Dear Experts,

I have done Alert Configuration.

My Question is In which cases we will get Error Notifications

Please guide me and Specify all the cases will get Error Notification like if we stop the communication channel we should get Error Notification like that

It helps me alot

It depends on your alert configuration.

If you configure the rules without any restrictions on both Integration and adapter engines then you'll receive alerts for any failure during the message processing such as content conversion,routing, mapping,channel stopped(only receiver), connectivity issues.

It completely depends on the error that you get.

Hi Hareesh,

I have configured Alerts in PI 7.0

for Testing Purpose I have Stopped the Receiver Communication Channel.

Initially I got Alerts

but Now i didn't get Any Alerts.

How can i resolve this issue.

Please any one guide me

Under the alert rule, did you select the check box for "Suppress Multiple Alerts"?

If so disable it then you'll receiver alert for every error.
