Not able login to DBA cockpit. Dropdown to  select system  is empty.

Version 😆

SAP IQ/16.0.0.807/140804/P/sp08.03/Enterprise Linux64 - x86_64 - 2.6.18-194.el5/64bit/2014-08-04 18:42:22

$ sh cockpit.sh --version

Additional  information :->There is nothing to select in the drop-down menu under "System"

Please let me know whether there is any solution/workaround to resolve this issue.

Hi

First of all, you need to check the hosts file on your client system.

hosts file has to include some information such as "host/ipaddress" and so forth..

In my case, I found out that the issue is related to OS System.

If I installed IQ16 SP08 on window 2008 R2 (English version) or added a package of english language.

And then I changed display language from korean to english.

I succeeded to log in to cockpit console.

And the cockpit related log files are helpful to investigate the root causes.

Hello ,

I am  still stuck with this issue.

Did not find any errors in logfile.

In DBA cockpit there is nothing to select in the drop-down menu under "System".

Any idea how does it get populated.

Is there any   configuration  that   needs to  be done to get this drop-down populated.
