Transport error - infopackage was repaired in the system

Hi,

I modified update mode in infopackage 0vendor_attr_init to "initialize without data transfer".

While transporting it to prd the error is displayed "<infopackage> was repaired in the system"

Both versions of that infopage ie. the one on dev and the one on prd are the same (except update mode of course). I used that package on prd recently and it works fine. So I don't see any reason doing any harm while transporting modified infopackage to prd.

In se03 on prd I see that repair flag is set on:

I'm not sure if I should reset repair flag and reimport it once more or use overwrite objects in unconfirmed repaires during transport ? or both ??

Regards, Leszek

Hi,

At Prod, as of now, have you deleted existing init? if not delete that init.

from dev, create new info pack - init without data transfer and move to prod thru transports.

it may works.

As my guess you posted at wrong forum.

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for fast response.

No problem with creating new package but how to delete the old one ?

My prd is closed for modification.

Will deletion work while using the transport pathe ie. delete it in dev and send the transport to prd ?

Hi,

Yes, delete at dev and move deleted changes to prod. it will delete init at prod.

after that you can transport new info pack - init without data transfer.

or

Request basis or bw team(authorized access to prod) member to delete existing init for your data source. You can request thru mail communication with proper approvals form your client/management.

Thanks

Hi,

I'll try to delete & create new one.

We closed prd to modifications because there were too many errors due to other persons' modifications on prd.

Then better to handle thru 2 transports

1 - Delete init and move changes to prod thru transport

2. Create new info pack - init without data transfer, move to prod thru transport.

Transport with deletion of the infopackage also ended with the same error.

Should I use "overwrite objects in unconfirmed repaires" during transport ?

Raman,

Everything ok. Thank you.

All in all:

1. I deleted package on dev and transported to qua and prod,

2. transported to prod wasn't possible without using "overwrite objects in unconfirmed repairs",

3. created new infopackage on dev and transported it to qua and prod.
